"Kristen Frank Carney" Stand-up Comedienne, Writer Website: www.KristenCarney.com Kristen Carney has been working the Chicago comedy scene since December 2006 and is rapidly making a name for herself. Before tripping and falling into comedy, Kristen started her stage career at 13 as a dancer for Show Stopper Productions, an upstate New York performance troupe. As a member of the touring cast, she performed at Disney World, Euro Disney and Universal Studios. After college she planned for a career in advertising. But, things don't always go as planned (if you don't believe me, ask the millions of teen mothers). She decided to take a stand-up comedy class and the rest is history. Since then, at 24, Kristen has rekindled her love of the stage in a somewhat less graceful form. And, oh how it's missed her. Some of her most recent performances include University of Wisconsin, The Laughing Post in Michigan, The Chicago Comedy Series, Village Lantern Comedy in Manhattan and Comedy Series at Club Indigo.
